An Extra Day

Hello!

The election. Oh, sorry to disturb your peace. hahah!

My daughter is taking World History these days. She likes to read her notes to me. This time it’s on the Haitian Revolution. As she was on her 3rd reading to me, I was struck! Animal Farm! George Orwell! Holy smokes… current day US history.

“Man is the only creature that consumes without producing. He does not give milk, he does not lay eggs, he is too weak to pull the plough, he cannot run fast enough to catch rabbits. Yet he is lord of all the animals. He sets them to work, he gives back to them the bare minimum that will prevent them from starving, and the rest he keeps for himself.”
George Orwell, Animal Farm

Of course, the quote above is not exactly where my mind went with it all, but I went digging and that quote popped up.

Humans are not going to kill the planet. We are going to kill ourselves. We are on the path to not only extinguishing every species outside of ourselves, but… well, we are just a small part of the whole.

There is a veil. It is real. It is so thick we can’t cut through it. And maybe we weren’t ever meant to. But, for those that can understand the bigger picture, the oneness in all beings and all of life, we must not fall asleep or sit back and ignore what’s happening around us. Keep taking all the individual measures you can to fulfill your own Dharma- your own purpose. Just that. Just that. Just that. For your ONE true purpose for sure affects many. Have no doubt about that!

We will have a 3 day “EVENT”. It’s Leap Year. There is an extra day. Of course in time, space continuum there is no such thing. But, according to Julius Caesar we had to keep the calendar organized and “civilized”…

Haha!

So there is a bit of a time vortex about to open.

Let’s take advantage with some practice.

From Friday to Monday I will post a little video of practice on your Member Portal.

I will also post a little Yoga blog on a specific Yoga Topic. (If you would like to ask any questions, now is a good time! I am available to answer!;))

So, pay attention and check back in on Friday!

See you soon!–Charry
