On this day. And the last one.

Hello Dear Members!

I hope this finds you doing well and enjoying the weather in your part of the world! Here in Texas it is starting to get HOT. Almost 90. When I am out on the courts coaching in the afternoons, it’s at least 95.

Which brings me to today’s post.

One of the players I coach turned 10 last week. So, I was talking to her about turning “double digits”. That can be an exciting time. (Remember when you actually wanted to get older and “grow up”?)

Well, I asked her about her birthday and if she had a party and she was basically so focused on playing 1v1 and beating me that she could barely remember her birthday! But, when I asked if she felt older, she stopped and looked at me like I was a moron and said: “No. Who ever feels older?”

Ha! And that about sums it up for me!

Who Ages?

Who Feels Old?

What if we could live every day, every year, like we were children at play? Would we feel this old then?

I was at the grocery store Monday evening. As I was in the Self Check Out lane buying some wine, the check out guy had to come look at my ID. He couldn’t believe it. He was one month to the day YOUNGER than me. Yet, life had aged him (shall we say?).

It’s NOT about Anti-Aging. In fact, that sort of prevailing thought (and actions- hello plastic surgery etc) is quite harmful, quite self aggressive!

But, it IS about AgeLESSness. Moving through time and beyond time with grace and ease.

What produces such an effect?

Meditation.

Massage.

Good diet.

Sleep.

Hydration.

We know what to do. We just choose not to do it.

So, you decide.

How old are you feeling today? And how agelessly do you want live your life?

(hint: Maybe you have to LOSE some thing to GAIN a light filled life)

Love you. CSO
